They crucified my Lord, and he never said a mumblin’ word.
They crucified my Lord, and he never said a mumblin’ word,
Not a word, not a word, not a word.
They nailed him to a tree, and he never said a mumblin’ word.
They nailed him to a tree, and he never said a mumblin’ word,
Not a word, not a word, not a word.
He hung his head and died, and he never said a mumblin’ word.
He hung his head and died, and he never said a mumblin’ word,
Not a word, not a word, not a word.

Bidding Prayer
L: Let us pray. . . . .We ask this through our Lord. C: Amen
P: Finally, let us pray for all those things for which our Lord would have us ask.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen.
(please stand)
