Sunday School - Fall term is September 18 - November 6
We have a special Sunday School class for the 5th-7th graders at 9:30 on Sunday, allowing the kids and teachers to attend most of worship.

We need Sunday School teachers for our regular grades 1-2 and 3-4 classes.

Sunday School is held during the 10am service. Kids Preschool through elementary are welcome to begin the service with parents in church, then after the children's sermon, follow the Sunday School teacher out of the sanctuary to Sunday School.

On Communion Sundays, teachers will bring the kids back to the sanctuary for communion. On non-communion Sundays, the children will stay in the youth building, and parents may pick them up after the service.

We still need teachers and back ups!!!! We will do all team teaching again, but that requires at least 6 teachers.
If you are interested in teaching, please let Pastor Paul or Barbara know. The lessons are all planned out, and it takes about 30 minutes. We use the Sparks program, which has lessons planned for you.

Top five reasons you should teach:
1. The students are fun: They will enrich your spirit, expand your horizons and grow your faith!
2. The lessons are a breeze: The lesson plans have been selected and provided for you.
3. The time commitment is finite: You commit to specific Sundays, one year at a time. Every teacher has the opportunity to attend worship – OK not every Sunday, but regularly.
4. The teamwork is uplifting: The community of Sunday School leaders will delight and encourage you and help you feel the creative energy of the Spirit.
5. You promised: Every time we baptize a child we are asked: Do you, the members of the church of Jesus Christ, vow to guide and nurture these children by word and deed, with love and prayer, encouraging them to know and follow Christ and to become faithful members of his church? Volunteering to lead Sunday School is a terrific way to make good on this vital promise.

The 6th-7th graders have a class going, so please contact Pastor Paul for more infomation.

Youth Group meets on the second Sunday of each month. This group if for junior and senior high school aged kids.

Family Nights are held the first Sunday of each month. Kids and parents are welcome to come for a casual fun night of fellowship.
